About This Project

Inspired by our local coastline, this modern interpretation of a classic Swedish Aquavit contains sugar kelp, lingonberry, sesame seed and caraway, balanced against classic herbal components.

 

Kusten is an Aquavit reminiscent of the festive seasons celebrated with family in Sweden. Complex, rounded and savoury, it is a great accompaniment to food, but works equally well in cocktails such as Blood Mary’s and Martini’s.

 

Ingredients

Caraway, sugar kelp, sesame seeds, rosemary, lingonberries, eucalyptus, fennel seeds, star anise.

 

Tasting notes

Aroma: Citrus, butter, herbal, aniseed.

Flavour: Citrus, fatty, salty, toasted fennel.

Feel: Sea breeze, textured, vibrant.
